A Prayer Beyond Borders

  • Oct 6, 2019

The Border Church / La Iglesia Fronteriza convenes a celebration of binational communion at Friendship Park each Sunday. Beginning in 2018, the Muslim community of San Diego and Tijuana, similarly inspired to stand for justice in the borderlands, joined the Border Church to pray at the most militarized border in the world and to create a Border Mosque. This is the story of people coming together, across borders, across communities, across faiths, across languages, to stand united for justice and pray beyond borders.

Watch this superb 7-minute short here, produced by Dustin Craun and edited by Ala' Khan and Reynoldo Escoto.
