Union Tribune: How to turn the Friendship Park border fence dispute to the good

As head-slapping ideas go, it’s hard to beat plans to erect a 30-foot fence to replace the corroding border barrier at Friendship Park. Then-Presidential candidate Joe Biden declared there would "not be another foot" built of the barrier that Donald Trump planned for the U.S.-Mexico border. Now the Biden administration plans to use Trump’s very own fence design that essentially could put an end to Friendship Park.
