SD Uptown News: Friendship Park's Border Church honored for providing jobs to LGBT+ asylum seekers

Border Church pastors John Fanestil and Guillermo Navarrete will receive a Light of Pride award from St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral and San Diego Pride on Thursday, July 13. The Border Church serves a weekly lunch on the Mexican side of Friendship Park, prepared and served by LGBT+ asylum seekers from Tijuana's Casa de Luz.
