WELCOME TO
FRIENDSHIP PARK!

Hi, Friend!  We’re so glad you’re here.  Welcome!  Bienvenido!

The way locals think about it, “Friendship Park” is a binational park where people of good will from both nations have been gathering peacefully for generations.  What you see in front of you is the  “walling off” of this historic meeting place by US federal authorities.

Friendship Park includes three spaces which are especially important to friends on both sides of the border -- the MONUMENT, the BEACH, and the GARDEN.

The U.S. side of Friendship Park is now dominated by the U.S. ENFORCEMENT ZONE.

Friendship Park is also home to public gatherings, including important annual events like La Posada Sin Fronteras and the Fandango Fronterizo, and also weekly Sunday afternoon gatherings of the binational community called “THE BORDER CHURCH.”

Here are a few words of introduction to each.
