Faith and Families Beyond Borders

An Interfaith Prayer Vigil

Forced migration is a global phenomenon causing separation among millions of families of all faiths, ethnicities and nationalities. Many residents of the San Diego/Tijuana region know the pain of being forcibly separated from their loved ones, and thousands of families have relied for years on access to Friendship Park. Even as other venues that closed due to COVID-19 have reopened since, the US side of Friendship Park remains closed to the public. Join with people from many faith traditions as we join in prayer for separated families everywhere, and as we ask San Diego Border Patrol to "OPEN FRIENDSHIP PARK."
